Medium Voltage cables

Medium-voltage cables are commonly used in substations equipment, for distribution of power in industrial settings and to supply electricity to commercial or residential buildings. They are used indoors in power stations, and when used outdoor they are better underground or in cable ducts. There are different types of isolation covering the aluminum/copper conductors to prevent any contact with the ground and cause discharges and lead to damaging the equipment/cable or cause injury.
